I knew when I heard that Cindy Clause and Mitzi Moon were going to team up that the story was going to be awesome. I loved it! From their first meeting to discovering their similar, but different gifts, it was a fun ride. I couldn't put it down.

I love this series and each installment just gets better and better. I can't wait for the next one!

Cindy Claus is back in another new Christmas Catastrophe novel. The Christmas Carnival has not been held in Silver Shoals in many years, not since a collapse of the ice castle had caused the death of a young girl. This year, the city council voted to once again hold the carnival and added a number of additional security precautions and inspections before opening the event to the full public. But during the trial “soft opening” event, there is a collapse of the ice castle, killing the councilwoman who cast the deciding vote that allowed the festival to be held once again.

I read a review copy of this book and very much enjoyed it. One of the most amusing aspects for me about this book was the fact that not only do we get to enjoy Cindy Claus and her arctic fox Artikoa, but this book is a crossover story in which Mitzy Moon and her husband Sheriff Erick Harper happen to be vacationing in town and visiting the festival when everything happens, so we get to see a team-up of Cindy and Mitzy as they work together to solve this mystery, using all their special skills and abilities to do so. And as a fan of the Mitzy Moon books as well as the Christmas Catastrophe series this book was even more fun than either series on their own has been so far.

I really enjoyed seeing familiar characters from both series working together in this book. And getting to learn a bit more about the backgrounds of their furry companions (Artikoa and Pyewacket as well as Pyewacket’s association with Mitzy’s mentor, Silas) was a nice bonus for me. I hope that we will get to see another crossover between these two series at some point.

As with Ms. Silvertale’s other books, this one was a very fun read. I actually finished it in two days, barely being able to put it down so that I could sleep at night. (In other words, I really enjoyed reading this one.) It was fun, with enough twists and appearances of characters from both series to keep me curled up and reading long past my usual bedtime. And one of the best parts was the delicious sounding cookie recipes that were included at the end of the book. I have not yet tried making any of them, but they sound absolutely delicious and easy to make.

This is a book that I believe anyone who has read any of Ms. Silvertale’s other books, and especially either the Mitzy Moon books or the Christmas Catastrophe books will enjoy. I know I absolutely loved reading this one, and am looking forward to whatever this author writes next. I would strongly recommend this book, especially during the holiday season so you can try baking the cookies to share with your friends and family.

What a fun book this was. Cindy and Mitzi make a great team of detectives and friends. Artikoa is a favorite character for me. We could do this Silver Shoals meets PinCherry again.

Cindy Claus, daughter of Santa, is settlling down in the human world and enjoying her time away from the North Pole. In this book, they are bringing back a Christmas carnival after 25 years of it being gone. 25 years ago there was a tragedy at the carnival. They decide to bring it back and another tragedy happens. During this carnival, Mitzy and Erick-from another fabulous series written by Trixie-are on vacation. They pitch in to help Cindy and Keith solve the murder.

Trixie has done it again.
The Christmas Catastrophe's series is fantastic as it is. Santa's daughter Cindy is just such a fun character. Add in the fact this is a cross over story featuring Pin Cherry's most cute couple Mitzy and Erick, you have all the makings for a wonderful paranormal cozy mystery. It really did not disappoint.
It is full of all the emotions and I literally could not put it down.

This is a special book in the Christmas Catastrophe mystery series. Cindy Claus, Santa’s daughter is runny a successful bakery in Silver Shoals. The town council woman is killed in a familiar accident, the same thing happened 25 years ago that left a little girl dead & her father grieving. Mitzi Moon & Sheriff Erick Harper the husband/wife duo from PinCherry Harbor come to visit on vacation & end up helping Cindy investigate the murder at the towns Christmas Carnival. Cindy is having feelings for the towns medical investigator. They are dating but she doesn’t know how serious they are.
Once you finish this fun Christmas story, pop over to the Pin Cherry Harbor series for more Mitzi & Erick adventures.

Cindy Claus, the daughter of Santa Claus and Queen Erregina now runs a bakery in Silver Shoals town, watched over by Artikoa, a wise arctic fox, previously the advisor of her father. Cindy is so naive and so kind hearted she is beloved by all in the town, but mostly by Kaith, the medical investigator. Everyone is gearing up for the christmas carnival which has just been re-introduced to the town, as the previous one had ended in tragedy. When this time around this one does the same, new help turns up to lend a hand to solve the mystery. I really liked how Ms. Silvertale introduced beloved characters from her previous series, and made them work so well with those in this series, namely Cindy and Keith. Mitzy moon and the sheriff came for a holiday, but being the magnet for trouble that Mitzy is trouble follows and she and Cindy try to get to the bottom of yet another murder case. I love that they both have paranormal powers, and that they made friends immediately. As always Mitzy is a hoot, and Cindy has much to learn from her. This is another really fun book to read, light hearted with some twists and turns to the mystery and as always with the lovely furry friend to add to the fun. I love the sweet and simple romance which is just taking off. Santa makes an appearance too, but will he accept Keith, a human, as his daughter's boyfriend? I guess we have to wait for the next book to find out, so bring it on!
